Competitive travel soccer, Division I and Division II , at this level of play, kids try out for our Storm teams. The team coach chooses the players he/she wants on the team. This is a high level of competitive play. Our Coosa Storm teams contain the best players in our club and play against the best teams in the state. This level of play is for kids ages from 10-18.
Spaghetti Diner
Coosa Storm 95 soccer team is having a spaghetti dinner on Sunday, January 31 from 11:45 – 1:30 at Southside First Baptist Church. Plates will be $5 each. The meal includes spaghetti, salad, bread, drink, and dessert. We will have to-go plates also.

Coosa Storm 95 Select Boys represented Coosa YMCA Soccer Association at the 2009 AYSA State Cup in Decatur, AL winning the Division II title.
The Storm 95 Boys had a remarkable fall season.They finished ranked first in their bracket with seven victories and one loss.Storm 95 followed that up with four wins over two weekends in Decatur culminating in a victory over the Blast 95 team from Fairhope 1-0 in overtime in the finals on Sunday, November 15, 2009 to finish with the Championship of the State Cup in their classification.
As the Division II Under 15 Boys 2009 Alabama State Champions, Storm 95 will now have the honor of representing the State of Alabama in the President’s Cup in June 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.This tournament will draw over a hundred teams from all eleven states in Region III.
Members of this team are John Morgan Baker, Cole Bowling, Adan Escareno, Mason Gore, David Hill, Padric Lee, Ryan Leslie, Austin Lovelace, John McCallie, Dustin McMahan, Jordan Nelson, Jose Ornelas, Jorge Segura, Corey Smith, Peter Smith, Mason Tompkins, Bryant Tucker, and Dylan Yeager.Storm 95 Select is coached by Pierce Carlson.Other team administration includes Cory Bowling as assistant coach, James Yaeger as team assistant, and Alison Bowling as team manager.
The Coosa Storm 95 players, coach, and parents would like to thank the Cities of Anniston, Gadsden, and RainbowCity for all of their support with facilities.They would also like to thank the YMCA and the Coosa Storm Soccer Board for their support and guidance.Without all of their support, this achievement might not have been possible.
